There’s something striking about the way Oliver Okolo talks about painting. Not as a job. Not even as a passion, in the traditional sense. But as a place. A place where everything else quiets down. Born in rural Nigeria in 1992, Oliver’s story doesn’t begin in a studio, it begins in imagination.
